# myHospi

> myHospi is the platform for student housing in the Netherlands. We bring together hospita rooms (rooms in shared student houses) from cities across the Netherlands, helping students find their ideal room and helping houses find their ideal housemate.

## How It Works

myHospi connects students searching for rooms with student houses that have a vacancy. Students browse available rooms by city, price, and surface area, then send their profile to houses they're interested in. Houses review profiles, invite candidates to a "hospiteer evening" (meet-and-greet), and choose their new housemate.

## About myHospi

myHospi is a free platform — students never pay to search for rooms, and houses never pay to list them. The platform was built specifically for the Dutch "hospiteren" tradition, where prospective housemates visit a student house for an evening to meet current residents before a room is assigned. myHospi digitalises and streamlines this process while keeping the personal, community-driven nature of Dutch student housing intact.
