Terms & Conditions – myHospi

1. General

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the use of myHospi, an online platform developed by Embite, based in the Netherlands. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

2. Target Audience and Usage

myHospi is intended for students who are looking for or offering rooms. The platform is not intended for commercial use by third parties, such as real estate agents or rental organizations, unless otherwise agreed upon.

3. Access and License

  • Users are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the platform.
  • Accounts are personal and may not be shared.
  • The platform may not be used for commercial purposes or for reselling services or products.

4. Paid Features

myHospi is free to use, but certain premium features are available for purchase. Payments for premium features are final, and no refunds will be provided unless otherwise stated.

5. User Content

  • Users can upload content, such as photos and descriptions of rooms and houses.
  • By uploading content, you grant Embite a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, republish, edit, and distribute this content through various channels (including social media, advertisements, etc.) without further approval or payment.
  • Embite is not responsible for the content uploaded by users and may remove or edit this content at any time.

6. Data Collection and Usage

myHospi collects, processes, and uses data provided by users, including but not limited to personal data, search behavior, and user interactions. This data may be used for:

  • Improving the service
  • Marketing and advertising purposes
  • Analyzing user behavior to optimize the user experience
  • Sharing anonymized data with third parties for commercial purposes, including selling data, offering targeted advertisements, or analyzing market trends

  • Embite does not guarantee continuous availability of the platform or its flawless operation.
